First-Time Student Certification
- Submit a current FAFSA application using school code 001119
- Submit an Application for VA Benefits online.
- Submit the following items to the Veteran's Services Office:
- A completed Request for VA Benefits form *per the Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 ()
- A copy of Member 4 DD214 (must indicate honorable discharge)
- Updated Educational Plan
- A 1905 Authorization completed by (VR&E) Counselor if using Chapter 31 benefits
- Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or printed copy of completed
- If using Chapter 1606 or 1607 benefits submit a Notice of Basic Eligibility for VA Benefits (NOBE) in lieu of a COE.
Returning/Continuing Student Certification
- Submit a current FAFSA application using school code 001119
- Submit the following items to the Veteran's Services Office:
- A completed Request for VA Benefits form *per the Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 ()
- An updated Educational Plan
Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges (including military credit) must be submitted to Admissions & Records prior to registration for the second semester.
