A student will be placed on Academic or Progress Probation in the event that he/she demonstrates substandard academic performance. If a student is unable to recover their Academic Standing, they will be dismissed from ΊΪΑΟΙη for one term (see βWhat is Academic Dismissalβ).
What is Academic Probation?
A student who has attempted a minimum of 12 semester units at ΊΪΑΟΙη shall be placed on academic probation if he/she has not earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all graded units.
What is Progress Probation?
A student who has enrolled in a minimum of 12 or more semester units at ΊΪΑΟΙη shall be placed on progress probation when the percentage of all units enrolled, and for which entries of βFW,β βW,β βNPβ and incompletes are recorded, reaches or exceeds 50%.
Probation Consequences:
- Loss of βGood Academic Standingβ status
- Loss of Priority Registration
- Possible Academic Dismissal, if unable to improve academic standing
- Possible financial aid implications
How to Return to Good Standing:
A student on academic probation shall be removed from probation when the studentβs cumulative grade point average is 2.0 or higher. A student on progress probation shall be removed from probation when the cumulative percentage of entries of βW,β βI,β βNCβ and βNPβ no longer reaches or exceeds 50%.

3. Register for classes
4. Apply for the R.E.B.O.U.N.D. Program
