2nd Year, You're Almost There!

Welcome, 2nd Year Students!

Congratulations on reaching your 2nd year at ºÚÁÏÉç! We're thrilled to announce that Promise 2.0 now extends its program benefits to students in their 2nd year. To be eligible for these exciting benefits, you need to meet the following criteria:

ELIGIBILITY

✨ Completed all 1st Year Promise Program requirements

✨ Completed 30 or more units prior to the start of the 2nd year

✨ Maintained a minimum 2.0 GPA

✨ Maintained full-time enrollment during the first year

✨ Attend the mandatory 2nd Year overview

✨ Enroll in a minimum of 12 units per semester in year two

NOTE: If you haven't completed 30 units by the end of Spring, don't worry! You can still catch up and fulfill the required units during the Summer.

Promise Overview

2nd Year ºÚÁÏÉç College Promise Students are required to participate in a MANDATORY program overview conducted in a virtual format. These sessions are designed to ensure that you learn about the 2nd year program requirements, benefits, and upcoming events or activities.

For the Fall 2023 term, the overview must be completed by September 1st, 2023.

Once you meet the program eligibility requirements, our advisors will email you the overview link. Please ensure that your contact information is updated in the Admissions and Records system.

NOTE: If you enroll in classes after the semester has already started (including late-start classes), please reach out to us at promise@barstow.edu or call (760) 252-6769 for additional program information.
